“Marcia has been walking with us since before the recent pandemic, continuously showing her commitment to vulnerable groups in Kenya. She provided us with grant funding that ultimately benefitted some 600 youth through workshops on reducing gender based violence, absenteeism in schools, early pregnancy and child marriage. Money she provided also went to supplying school uniforms, paying school fees, and providing shoes and books for students in need. She most resently helped us secure funding for a tank to capture much needed rain water during our rainy season. It was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who said ‘Out of the mountain of despair, a stone of hope.’ Marcia is that stone of hope for us and we are so grateful!”
